Historic China Grove School House: The ranch was named after the old school house on the property that was built in the late 1800's for the homesteader's children in the area. It was the typical one room school with a small room in the back for the teacher. A cistern caught rain water for the use of the school house. A storm cellar was dug in the back for use during bad storms. This school house was built out of red brick and today is a standing testament of our strong forefathers and mothers of yesterday.
